About Me!

I'm a senior at Wesleyan University double majoring in Computer Science and English with a minor in Integrated Design, Engineering and Applied Science (IDEAS). I am the lead backend engineer for a student-created professor review app called OurCampus, a course assistant for several high level computer science classes, and a co-founder and executive producer of Wesleyan's hackathon, WesHack!

I have extensive experience with fullstack web development using a variety of different technologies, as well as dynamic webscraping and game development. Outside of coding, I'm a co-president of Wesleyan's bi-annual Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast, a former head opinion editor for Wesleyan Argus' opinion section, and a theater light designer, and in my free time I love to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, play video games, and listen to comedy podcasts.

    • Implemented Python multiprocessing pools for the scraper to cut down run-time from 8 hours to 2 hours
    • Developed error handling and debugging on the web scraper to ensure that it would notify HC1 of any changes to the websites being scraped as well as any other potential errors
    • Coded a long-running process killer using bash and Python to end unnecessary processes and free up RAM
